Colorado Rocky Mountain Bike Tour
This August, you have the opportunity to join the second annual ride of the Colorado Rocky Mountain Bike Tour. Riding a true mountain loop.
We will be starting in wonderful Gunnison, Colorado on August 3rd. We will ride a clockwise loop arriving back in Gunnison on Saturday August 9th. The ride will consist of 472 true alpine miles staying in the towns of Hotchkiss, Glenwood Springs, Leadville, Frisco, and Salida.
The tour will pass through such towns as Aspen, Vail, Minturn, and Buena Vista. The tour will summit some of the monuments of not only Colorado but the United States such as McClure Pass, Independence Pass, Tennessee Pass, Vail Pass, Fremont Pass, and Monarch Pass.
Our altitude will range from 5000 feet to over 12,000 feet. This will be a true alpine ride with no “weak” days.
