October 2008 Panda Bear Tour
Our 2008 October Panda Tour will be to the new Panda Reserve of Bifangxia where many of the pandas from Wolong were moved to along with a number of keepers.
Bifengxia is only an hours drive from Chengdu, but in a remote area suitable for the pandas. Wolong will eventually be closed and access right now still restricted and not possible via the normal road.
We will make a $100 donation for each person joining our tour in October and in 2009 to the Panda Research Center for the panda you are taking care of.
We still have open spaces for October which is a great time to volunteer since the new babies will then be between 6 and 10 weeks old.
